Company History
After over a decade working as a Case Manager at the Department of Human Services and seeing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) begin to roll out in Melbourne, Agnes saw that there was a part of the community that needed her help. With her extensive background in supporting people with disability and their families to get the supports they needed, and also being fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin as well as English, Agnes made the leap and Connect Support Group was born.
Founded in 2017, the business began out of Agnes’ study in her home. It began as a solo venture, with Agnes being the only employee. Offering Support Coordination services, Agnes quickly gained a reputation for delivering a quality, compassionate service, working quickly to ensure her clients got the support they needed, and had someone to guide them through the complexity that is the NDIS. Seven years later in 2024, Connect Support Group is in a multi-level office, and has grown to 100 staff, which are spread throughout both metropolitan and regional Victoria, with some in New South Wales too. Beginning with just Support Coordination, Connect Support Group now also offers Social and Community Access, Assistance with Daily Living, NDIS Plan Management and Occupational Therapy.
